Often people ask “what is a service”, so we have broken down what we action to make things simpler:

“A motor vehicle service…” is a series of maintenance procedures carried out at a set time interval or after the vehicle has travelled a certain distance.

The service intervals are specified by the vehicle manufacturer in a service schedule and some moderns cars display the due date for the service electronically on the instruction panel.

Maintenance tasks commonly carried out (but not limited to) during a motor vehicle service include:

Warrant of Fitness Definition…

is a periodic safety inspection that is compulsory for light vehicles. A light vehicle is a car, station wagon, van or 4WD vehicle. It can also be a moped, motorcycle or similar including a trike.

WYNN’S PRODUCTS:

Injector Cleaner (Diesel). In order for a vehicle to perform as it was intended, it is essential that the injectors remain clean and free of build-up. Deposits on the fuel injectors can accumulate rapidly due to poor diesel fuel quality. These deposits can adversely affect the ideal spray pattern from the injector nozzle, which is essential for optimum vehicle performance. These build-ups directly affect the engine power, fuel consumption, emissions (black smoke) and the general performance of the vehicle.

Injector Cleaner (Petrol). During every day driving deposits form on the tips of fuel injectors. These deposits can adversely affect the ideal spray pattern from the injector nozzle, which is essential for optimum vehicle performance. Deposits are particulary troublesome in today’s home to shop stop starting driving environments, with the result being dirty injectors, irregular idling, loss of power, difficult cold start. These deposits can start to occur after only 2,400 km’s of driving,

Radiator Flush. Cooling system failure and overheating of the engine is the leading cause of mechanical breakdowns. Rust, grease, sludge and scale build-up all contribute to the likelihood of cooling system failure. By not using a flush damaging debris remain in the cooling system, slowly deteriorating internal components and seriously impairing the proper function of the radiator and cooling system. Wynn’s Radiator Flush safely removes rust, grease and scale from the entire cooling system ensuring the new coolant works at its maximum potential, not having to work against a dirty system hat can shorten coolant life. Wynn’s Radiator Flush contains no harsh acid or alkali compounds and will not attack cooling system components.

Engine Flush. With time even the best engine oil deteriorates and contaminates the engine with gums and varnish deposits that a simple oil change just cannot remove. Any new oil may be compromised and be contaminated by deposits left behind. Extended service intervals are placing higher demands on today’s engine oils, making it now even more important to ensure that the new oil is give the optimum chance to protect the engine. Most engine flushes are solvent-type based products, they tend to reduce the lubrication of the oil. If this type of flush is left in the engine too long mechanical damage can occur and engine seals can be affected. Damage may bot be visible but is irreversible. Wynn’s Engine Flush has been formulated to gently dissolve and remove internal engine contaminants by suspending them in a high level of dispersants. The non-solvent formula assures maximum drainage of the contaminants with the used oil, thereby minimising new oil contamination.
