Comprehensive Protection Accessories

ARB bars are all superbly designed, engineered and manufactured in-house by us. This attention to detail not only maintains maximum functionality (especially relevant with the inclusion of modern safety sensors and technology), but also ensures they complement the look of your vehicle.

ARB Bull Bars are air bag-compatible, which means their installation will not affect your vehicle’s crush rate and airbag triggering.

1. Steel Uprights
   1. Each bull bar upright is cut from a single sheet of steel and extends from the top tube through to the bull bar section and actually forms part of the bull bar to chassis mount. This process ensures the whole outer frame receives the maximum possible support. Cover straps are then welded onto each upright to ensure there are no exposed sharp edges.
2. CB Antenna Brackets
   1. The vast majority of ARB Deluxe bull bars incorporate two CB antenna brackets welded behind the top cross tube. Custom fit, clamp on brackets are also available for additional antenna mounting.
3. Driving Light Provision
   1. Exceptionally durable and secure, all ARB bull bars serve as an ideal platform to mount driving lights, helping ensure maximum performance and longevity. Driving lights mounted to a high-quality bull bar prevents problems such as excessive movement, a vibrating beam pattern, premature bulb failure and eventual fatiguing of the light bodies.
4. Split-Pan Design
   1. ARB’s Engineers give careful consideration to maintaining sufficient air flow to the vehicle’s radiator. Utilizing a split-pan system, ARB’s bull bar design ensures the radiator receives a massive amount of air flow and actually further increases the strength of the bull bar.
5. Recessed Indicators
   1. Most ARB Deluxe bull bars feature indicators and optional fog lights for foul weather conditions. The recessed panels give both indicators and fog lights improved protection from branches and road debris.
6. Winch Compatibility
   1. Mounting a winch to a vehicle requires a properly supported structure that is designed to accommodate the stresses of winching. When using a snatch block to increase winching capacity, the forces are multiplied to several times the rated capacity of the winch. Most ARB bull bars feature the option of fitting a winch, and all are designed and tested to endure and exceed such loads.
7. Jacking Points
   1. Eliminating the need for a mounting bracket, jacking points are integrated into the design of most ARB bull bars.. These points also enable easier access to the clutch lever when unspooling wire rope before winching.
8. Air Bag Compatible
   1. With an air bag equipped vehicle, it is essential that the vehicle’s crush rate and air bag triggering are not altered when a bull bar is installed. ARB assesses each vehicle’s frontal crush characteristics and replicates the crush rate into the design of each air bag compatible bull bar and its mounting system. This achieves maximum possible vehicle and passenger protection without affecting the crash pulse.
9. Mounting System
   1. The mounting system is a vital part of any ARB bull bar design. ARB’s mounting systems are specifically engineered to spread impact and winching loads evenly over the vehicle’s chassis. This ensures the bull bar functions properly in extreme conditions.

Weight savings provide improved fuel economy and reduced tyre, suspension and brake wear when compared to other aftermarket alternatives.

About ARB under vehicle protection

While bull bars, side rails and rear bars will help keep vulnerable vehicle protection panels free from damage, various vital components underneath your vehicle are also at risk when you drive in challenging off road terrain. Whilst most factory protection is sufficient for protecting your vehicle from stone damage, a more robust solution is required to provide protection from rocks, stumps and ruts encountered in more challenging terrain.

ARB Under Vehicle Protection sets are vehicle-specific and include protection panels directly bolted onto the chassis to provide protection from the ARB bull bar (if fitted) to the transfer case. ARB differential covers are also available for a range of vehicles and have been specifically engineered to protect both the differential and the ring and pinion set from off road hazards.
